Being at the forefront of progress requires dedication. The same holds true when it comes to the ongoing efforts to ensure that the customer get the best value possible from a product or a solution. At Danoffice IT, we hold some of the highest certifications in the industry and we put great efforts into training and continued education. Tejs Evers knows a little something about this! We are proud to announce that Tejs has become a part of Aruba’s global Partner Ambassador Program.
When asking Tejs what the motivator in his work is, he is quick to reply. That is also the case when you ask him about his new ambassador title: “The truly critical issue is that I now know that I will be fully equipped to best guide the customer and serve as a better advisor,” Tejs Evers, Senior Datacenter Consultant, Network, at Danoffice IT, explains. His distinction is not just about accolades and glory because there are substantial benefits to being a member of Aruba’s ambassador program for both Danoffice IT and our customers. “The biggest benefit is that I, and thereby the collective we have access to important knowledge. This is both specialized knowledge and new knowledge which will help us stay in the know and be ahead of the curve of new developments,” he says.
One of 3
Aruba’s global ambassador program is a very exclusive club. In all of Europe, there are a mere 75 members and in Denmark, Tejs is now one of a mere three ambassadors. The program itself was created to keep the global partner network updated on road maps, launches, and all possible developments in network solutions.
“Each month, we join an ambassador meeting, and I have great expectations of this. I am excited for the knowledge portion of it. This was my main motivator for working to achieve this title,” Tejs says and adds: “I have always been the first to move and I can be that even more so now.” In addition to the monthly meetings and the constant access to Aruba’s product development, Tejs will participate in an annual ambassador meeting in the USA at which Aruba will introduce the next steps in the new developments.
Security Weight Heavy - Still
These days, the hot topic is a stable secure network. This might actually be more than it used to be as a result of the true cyber threats that are currently present. The security questions surely also take up a lot of room in the everyday role of the new ambassador. “Security is still the primary driving force when it comes to networks and in most recent years, compliance has been added to the top of the agenda. As specialists, we work hard to accommodate the current concerning trend through which many large corporations are facing a new reality. Therefore, my access to specialized knowledge is very valuable. It will allow me to better serve the customer whether they just need their compliance brushed up or if they need to implement a new security layer in their network.”
It goes without saying that AI is the most pronounced and talked-about tech innovation in the IT industry right now and networks are not excluded from that as Tejs explains. “We are looking towards a new world operated by AI, but right now, we do not know when AI is operating our firewalls or when other parts of the network are. However, Aruba is ahead of the game so when they are ready, we, as the ambassadors, will be the first to know. There is a sense of security in knowing that. This will be one of the topics we will be discussing during our next Tech Clan Days in December.”
